Biography
William lorimer born in Carlisle Cumbria.Won scholarship to Carlisle Art college.
First class London City and Guilds finals in Lithography.
A lithographer by profession, apprenticed to The Metal Box Company Carlisle
As you see I was an old fashioned centre half....when I was 14.
Always interested in art , but now retired and enjoying experimenting and developing skills and techniques, we never stop learning .
My wife Myra and I share our studio and work in a completely different style.
As a lithographer I Lectured at Newcastle College of Art, and managed many companies in the quest for excellence in reproduction of Art, books, and packaging, in an industry that was changing rapidly during the whole time , it was a wonderful challenge, at last I now have the time and energy to produce my own original work, and here it is ,I hope you enjoy our efforts.
